Hauppauge announced the MediaMVP-HD Digital Media Player
Hauppauge has added a new model to their MediaMVP product lineup – MediaMVP-HD Digital Media Player. It’ll allow to playback FullHD video content from the attached USB storage and network shares. Except HDMI ouput, MediaMVP-HD also provides component, composite, and S-Video video connections. I suspect that new HD player will also be supported by MediaMVP Media Center (mvpmc) to provide consumers a choice between proprietary and open source environment. Also don’t forget that MediaMVP can function as MythTV frontend using mvpmc. So, it’d be nice to get the $149.99 MythTV client with 1080p support.
