Californian start-up Nest Labs launched world’s first learning thermostat Nest. It looks very attractive and uses the same approach for user interaction as iPod (company’s founders – two ex-Apple employees from the iPod team). The thermostat is extremely simple in installation and easy in use. Moreover, it learns your temperature preferences during the fist week and then starts build the temperature schedule automatically based on previous data. Sure you have ability to adjust it manually.

Thanks to built-in WiFi adapter and special apps you may control the Nest from iOS or Android devices as well as from web-based interface. Also it can be integrated to the whole home automation system.

The thermostat Nest will be available in the middle of November at $249.00. Taking into account its price, design, learning feature and DIY segmentation we can say that it’s possible the best approach for your apartments or house to add climate-control and save money.

This universal remote control should be very attractive for all football fans not just because it’s made as a football ball. But also because it’s soft to do not break your TV and durable to do not break itself in case you throw it if your team plays not good.

The football remote control can control not only TVs but other AV devices as well. It has an effective range up to 7 meters and costs about €20.

Probably the most impressive home theater I’ve seen in my life is built in Palm Beach, Florida. It includes an Entrance Area/Ticketing Booth, the Pirate Tavern/Lobby, where you can take a shot of rum between shows and the unique screening room with twelve sits which looks like a deck of a Pirate ship.

As I already mentioned that project is under construction. So, no any “live” pictures are available yet. Hope the home theater will have the same amazing look in reality as on rendered images.

It’s not enough for home theater to include high-end equipment and be integrated with home automation system. It also should have some exceeded design. Like Terminator themed one, for example.
