AlertMe offers CCTV now

AlertMe CCTV Camera

Finally AlertMe added a very important for home security system feature – CCTV. So, it’s really good addition to the already existing sensors and electricity consumption measurement.

It’s based on Sercomm RC8021 IP camera supported wired connection as well as wireless. It has VGA resolution 640×480, 30 FPS, with dual MPEG-4 and M-JPEG streaming. Additionally it supports 3GPP to send data to mobile phones. Cameras can be set up to start recording as soon as a sensor is triggered in the home. User should log into his/her secure website and check what’s happening. It’s also possible to view pre-recorded videos until the user chooses to delete them.

There is no camera bundle on the AlertMe site yet. But you can pre-order camera with 10% discount and pay for £68 instead of £75.
