Super thin and green HDTVs at CES 2009
Here is a few models of super thin Full HD TVs demonstrated on CES 2009. The first one is Panasonic’s 0.33-inch thick Neo Eco Plasma. Additionally to its amazing thickness it utilizes 50% less energy than previous Panasonic models.
The Samsung Luxia LED TV range will have 1-inch thick casing and energy using will be down 40-percent compared to rivals.
LG is going to release its a 1-inch thick, 55-inch LED-backlit HDTV LH9500 model
And finally JVC 32-inch model which will be 0.27-inches thick and a mere 11 pounds in weight. It’s really impressive!

The LG TV looks good, but the stand for the JVC TV looks insane! That really is an interior design fashion statement. Even hanging from the ceiling, it looks like a piece of art.
Looking forward to seeing them this side of the pond, and hopefully not too pricey.
The LH9500 looks a very impressive model and will have local dimming LED backlighting and wireless av media box which transmits at full HD resolution, not long until this brilliant top of the range tv is released in the uk!
