SpeakerCraft presents iPhone Interface for MODE Multiroom A/V
According to information from CEPro well-known producer multiroom audio systems and their components SpeakerCraft has presented iPhone interface for its MODE distributed-audio system. The interface is generated by embedded Web server run inside SpeakerCraft’s ERS 1.0 Ethernet-to-serial adapter and needs just a Safari web browser. So, no additional software should be installed on iPhone. The same manner iPod Touch can be to control MODE A/V system. Multiple interface devices can be used simultaneously to control different zones of the house.
Jeremy Burkhardt, SpeakerCraft president said that appearance of such interfaces will kill ordinary keypads. Well, he’s right. The keypads will give way to touchscreens which is more flexible and functional.
