ASUS UMPC

Asus UMPC

ASUS also released its UMPC (Ultra Mobile PC) – R2H. It has a 7in touch screen LCD with 800 x 480 resolution, Windows XP Tablet OS with Touch Pack, 802.11b/g wireless and a couple of USB2.0 ports, Bluetooth 2.0, a front mounted 1.3MP digital camera and built in GPS with retractable antenna. Like the Samsung Q1, the R2H has in-built TV features: both analogue and DVB-T. R2H is based on an Intel Centrino ultra-low voltage processor and includes 512MB of RAM and hard drive (I couldn’t find its capacity but I can guess that it’s 20 -80 GB). The price of ASUS UMPC is about $1000.
So, this is another good candidate to Plutohome Orbiter!

The next generation of SONY Walkman

Sony VE7000S

The brand “Walkman” is well known. It was very popular in last century 🙂 People used it to get music along. Then “Walkman” was replace by “Diskman”. But recently I saw it on the new mobile phones from Sony Ericsson. The good brand shouldn’t be forgotten.
Now I’d like to inroduce you the next “Walkman” device – VE7000S which is a portable DVD player. It sports a 7-inch display, a couple of headphone jacks, and a dock with integrated speakers capable of charging the unit in about 3 hours.
