Digital Deck’s Media Connector
Digital Deck™, a leading provider of technology for management of entertainment content throughout the connected home, released its Media Connector and Software. It runs on Windows XP PCs and transfer music, live and recorded TV, photos into every connected room of home with following formats:
- MPEG-2 Video, Full D1 Sampling @ 6+ Mbps (MPEG-4 is missed)
- MP3, WMA, AAC & AC-3 Digital Audio
- JPEG, PNG, TIFF, GIF & BMP Image Formats
Media Connector can be easyly integrated with TiVo® Series2 DVR, Apple® iTunes®, flickr™ and of course Windows Media™ Player. It has a bunch of outs: Component, S-Video & Composite, Digital & Analog Outputs, Infrared & Serial Device Control, 100-Base-T.
Media Connector is available for US$499 for one room and US$299 for each additional rooms. Note that currently it supports only three Media Connector in one network.
