The software is 50% for the rest of 2006 and very reasonable. There is a standalone (no homeseer) or plugin (homeseer) version. You won't beleive how powerful a sprinkler system can be running rain8net and mcssprinklers. You can daisy chain additional rain8nets (only 1 transformer needed) if you need to add more zones. For under $200, you can have an 8 zone setup that is computer controller and smarter than any other controller on the market today -- and it uses free information from the internet, not any expensive monthly service.
