		<description>Sure, CFL lamps are much better. I suspect that Smarthome uses old-school lamp just for example. I don&#039;t think that it&#039;s possible to leave light with that kind of device. It have a timeout to switch light off. So, it&#039;ll do that always. Also it&#039;s possible to adjust the angle of motion detector. So, you can avoid unnecessary triggering. BTW, personally I vote for the whole house control system, which can manage energy consumption more efficient then standalone device. But sometimes such kind standalone solutions are very helpful.</description>

But does buying a device will continuously run a motion sensor ever producing savings from leaving a light on occasionally? I doubt it. Especially if the light is a CFL.

I do like battery run LED lights with motion sensors for dark places without light.</description>
