2Osdaxxx: unfortunately we don’t work together with guy who own ASUS P2-M2A690G. So, I don’t know the latest news. But as I know the sound over HDMI was passed with installed Catalyst drivers.

Did you guys ever resolve the audio over HDMI issue with the ISIS system? If so, what did you do? I tried “asoundconf set-default-card HDMI” but still no sound over HDMI (Video works fine). Any help appreciated…

Stupid question - did you switch to HDMI sound card using asoundconf? Is HDMI card is set as default? Unfortunately, I returned back that box. So, I don’t have a chance to play with it. But as I know one guy was able to pass sound correctly via HDMI on the LinuxMCE 0710 media director (it runs Kubuntu 7.10). But there was some problem with video. I need to talk with him to get more information.

Hello, Michael:
Can you get audio via HDMI? I have mounted one barebone like that, with last ATI drivers, ubuntu 8.04 updated yesterday but I can’t heard anything vía HDMI.
Analog output works perfect.
