Wise Controls Wireless Lighting

English company Mr Resistor offers a range of Wise lighting wireless products: receivers, switches and dimmers. Using the WisePack Dimming Receiver you can connect to it up to 16 switches without wires. It allows 2 way dimming or more and includes an internal memory to restore previous dimming level. The Wise products work with 868MHz frequency. There is no any information about compatibility with will-known wireless protocols such Z-Wave or ZigBee. Probably they use some proprietary technology.

2Geoff: not sure about that. That company uses its own proprietary protocol. So, nobody except them can develop such app.
Has anyone had any issue with the wise products, I like it but some of the switch buttons don’t work when you want them to?
Hi – I'd be very interested to hear if anyone has an update on whether there is a way of 'learning' the Wise 868 MHz codes into something like z wave. I too would love to use an iPhone to control my Wise lighting. I think the iPad will make a superb universal remote to control AV, lighting, security, etc, etc. (far better than my Philips Pronto and rag tag collection of remotes).
There is an app available now to control Wisecontrols:

Hi
Is there or will there be an application for the iPhone so that the Wise receivers can be controlled.
Thanks Geoff
