Aurora Multimedia Dynamic Button Controller
Aurora Multimedia announced the release of its WACI PAD-6 dynamic button controller. It provides the full functionality of an interactive touch panel with simple LCD buttons. WACI PAD-6 includes six dynamic LCD buttons which change based on which button you press first. For example, tagging the “DVD” button can switch your six options to play / pause, stop, and volume, while choosing the “Lights” pad could lead to dimming controls (see flash demo here).
The controlles features 64MB of RAM, an internal “250 MIPS web server” which triggers the macro switching, an IR port, one serial port, and a built-in Ethernet port. It can be use as stand-alone home controller or it can be integrated into home automation system.
